- Crochet hook size 4 mm (main)
- 10 mm safety eyes or beads.
- Polyester fiberfill (Hollofiber).
- Plastic needle with a wide eye, and a needle for sculpting.
- Stitch marker (such as a safety pin) to mark beginning of the round.
- Scissors, sewing pins.
- Strong thread for sculpting (I use thread marked "100 ll").
- Lighter (to seal yarn ends).

- sl st - slip stitch
- MR - magic ring

- hdc - half double crochet
- dc - double crochet
- tr - treble crochet
- inc - increase
- dec - decrease
- dec over 3 sc - same as a normal decrease, but pick up 3 front loops instead of 2
