About Rodeo Blue Donkey
There’s a gentle melancholy in Rodeo’s eyes, a softness that says more than words ever could. He’s the kind of friend who doesn’t need to say much to be understood. Rodeo wasn’t made for racing or loud celebrations. He was stitched to sit beside you during the quiet moments — those rainy afternoons when you reach for your favorite yarn and let your thoughts drift.
With floppy ears that listen better than most people do and a slightly tilted head that seems to say I’m here for you, Rodeo quickly becomes more than just a plush toy. His sky-blue coat, soft to the touch, invites the comfort of stillness. And though his seams may show, they are reminders of resilience, of having been lovingly brought into the world loop by loop.
Creating Rodeo is a journey of tenderness. Designed for intermediate-level crocheters, this 24cm donkey is brought to life through a detailed PDF filled with step-by-step images that gently guide you through the process. Each stitch you make is a whisper of encouragement, a piece of his story unfolding in your hands. As you crochet his expressive face and characterful posture, you may find yourself already imagining the corner of the shelf or bed where he’ll sit — or the little hands he’ll one day be held in.
This Blue Donkey Plush Toy Crochet Pattern is more than a project. It’s an invitation to slow down, to create something meaningful, and to give shape to a soul with yarn and heart. Rodeo was never meant to be perfect — he was meant to be yours.

What our crocheters are saying 💬
Honestly, I bought this pattern on a whim because I’ve always had a soft spot for Eeyore… and I’m so glad I did! The PDF was beautifully designed and super easy to follow. I especially appreciated the tips on shaping the face and placing the ears — it made such a difference. He’s now sitting on my shelf with his head tilted just like in the photo, and I can’t stop smiling every time I see him.

Pattern was easy to follow and the result is adorable. I love him!
