- A crochet hook suitable for your yarn. I used a Clover Soft Touch No. 2.
- Yarn: YarnArt JEANS in any colors of your choice.
- For the body: #69 and #29.
- For the shell: #85 and #35.
- For the eyebrows, I separated yarn #29 into two strands and used it doubled.
- For the sun hat: #85, with small amounts of #35, #90, and #77.
- Stuffing material.
- Safety eyes (10 mm) or sewn-on/glued options (beads, half-beads—your choice).
- White felt circles (15 mm diameter) for the whites of the eyes.
- Strong thread for sculpting.
- Needle for sewing parts, scissors, pins, and contrasting marker thread.
Abbreviations

- sc: Single Crochet
- ch: Chain Stitch
- inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
